We are currently focusing on BWTS & Scrubber Retrofit projects &
below are our expertise in same.

Feasibility Study including 3D Laser Scanning

Our team of technical engineer & scanners are visit the vessel for 3D laser scanning and survey of required area for new retrofit equipment’s & tapping connections and basis of same we prepare the preliminary feasibility report for owner/management approval prior to actual engineering work.

Basic Design & Class Approval

We prepare below required class approval drawings
– Piping schematics
– Pressure Drop Calculation
– New Equipment & Pipe arrangement Drawings
– All electrical & Instrumentation drawings like, single line diagram, Load balance,
Electrical short circuit calculation, GPS & Alarm monitoring system, etc.
– Lightweight Calculation Report
– All Structural Foundation Drawings
– Structural Analysis Report for Major Equipment foundations

Detailed Engineering & 3D modelling

We use software’s like CADworks, Plant 3D for modelling of BWTS & Scrubber pipe systems which has capability to work directly on 3D point cloud data and increase accuracy of design.
For Structural Production Drawings we use Ship Constructor Software.
In detailed engineering we provide below drawings/documents to shipyard.
– 3D model of system
– Pipe Isometrics for fabrication
– Pipe spool drawings (if required)
– Structural Production Drawings for Shipyard (Nesting/Part List/profile sketches)
– Installation Manual

Site Supervision

If required from owner/management, we send our expert engineers to monitor the shipyard
work during installation and prepare work & cost report daily basis.
Our engineers work with shipyard as a team and help/guide them if any problem arises during
installation.

BWTS Retrofit Projects

• 3D Scanning: 1-2 days (9-10 scanning hours a day) depend upon area
of scan
• Feasibility Study: 5 days
• Basic Design & class submission: 10 days
• Detailed Engineering & 3D pipe modeling: 12 days
• Total Time: 3 weeks from date of scanning.

Scrubber Retrofit Projects

• 3D Scanning: 3 days (9-10 scanning hours a day)
• Feasibility Study: 5 days
• Basic Design & class submission: 15 days
• Detailed Engineering & 3D pipe modeling (Open Loop): 20 days
• Detailed Engineering & 3D pipe modeling (Closed/Hybrid Loop): 25 days
• Total Time: 5-6 weeks from date of scanning.
